1999
The 1999 vintage from Château La Cardonne presents a fine carmine robe with hints of purple. The bouquet is already intense, undergrowth making way for fruit with pepper and nutmeg. The attack is generous and mellow, developing a harmonious structure with strong, well robed woody tannins and cooked fruits.

The 1998 vintage has a superb, garnet-red colour, almost black.
Its varied bouquet combines the fruity aromas of blueberry, raspberry and blackcurrant, married with flowery hints and a touch of liquorice.
The initial taste is smooth, developing into opulent, firm tannic substance; the long, elegance of the finish, with a roasted touch, caresses the palate and entices the palate and senses.
