At Domaines CGR , we have long embraced a policy of sustainable agriculture. The Estate has been certified "Agriculture raisonnée" in 2006, reflecting our policy to preserve the natural environment of the vineyard, and favours the expression of our unique terroir in all our wines. The condition of our soil is paramount, and we use only natural techniques to prevent erosion and enhance the overall well-being of the earth in which our vines grow. The controlled presence of weeds both augments the biodiversity on the vineyard and gives the vines a natural defence against mildew and botrytis. Our wines have as a result become more powerful and expressive - at once fruitier and fleshier - better reflecting the blend of grapes and their provenance.
